Admissions

Children join St Andrew’s in Nursery in the half-term of their third birthday and Reception in the September following their fourth birthday.  Nursery pupils at St Andrew’s are exceptionally well prepared for the transition as ‘they start school’.  Pupils are welcome to join the Nursery any term of the year.

The Pre-Prep is for pupils in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.  Pupils may enter the Pre-Prep department at any point, subject to spaces being available.

Pupils are admitted to Year 3 at the beginning of the year after they have turned 7.  Subject to available places and an entrance assessment, pupils are admitted at any stage up until Year 8.  The majority of our Prep pupils have attended our Pre-Prep department and attendance in the Pre-Prep guarantees a place further up the School.
