Tatler Review: Hot off the Press

"A lovely, family Prep" says a father.  "Idyllic setting, happy children, outstanding academics, music and sport".  Three cheers for the U9 boys team who didn't lose a single match in any sport last year, and for the hockey girls who reached the national finals.  Bad news for the oppo: those teams are only going to get better now that the new sports centre has opened.  The motto here is Altiora Petimus, to reach for higher things- taken literally at breaktime, when pupils race into the woods to climb tress or whizz down the zipwire.  They hit the heights academically too, winning scholarships to Abingdon, Radley and Magdalen.  And guess what?  They're British Schools Orienteering Champions again.  Newish head, Jonathan Bartlett is one of the school's greatest strengths, we're told.  "He listens- not all heads do" says a mother.
